At Ellsworth Home, we believe the most enduring houses feel as though they’ve always been there. Led by Principal Jason VanWarren, we restore historic homes and design new ones that draw from traditional architecture while reflecting how people live today.
From the start, architecture, interiors, and landscape are conceived as one. We consider how a home sits on its site, how light moves through its rooms, and how materials and textures shape the experience of space.
Good design isn’t decoration—it’s intention. Our process begins by listening to how our clients live, what matters most, and how a home can support both the everyday and the extraordinary. From morning rituals to evening gatherings, we translate those rhythms into homes that flow naturally and age beautifully—a house you grow into, never out of.
We don’t sell a style. Each home is shaped by its people and its place. While no two are alike, our sensibility is consistent: refined, timeless, and grounded in the way people live. Every detail matters, and every element has purpose.
Innovation shows up in thoughtful ways—rethinking flow, maximizing space, doing more with less. With today’s tools and materials, we create homes that are healthier and more efficient, without compromising character.
When everything comes together, the result is greater than the sum of its parts.
You are home.
Ellsworth Home is based in Sharon, Connecticut and New York City, with projects from the Hamptons to Cape Cod and select commissions nationwide.
Principal Jason VanWarren brings an integrated approach to architecture, interiors, and site planning, shaped by senior roles at acclaimed firms. Jason served as a partner at Rees Roberts + Partners and worked on residential projects with Jacques Grange in New York.
Jason believes a well-designed home is more than a collection of beautiful spaces—it should reflect the people who live there, and make everyday moments feel elevated. With a master’s degree from the Florence Design Academy in Italy, he brings a disciplined eye for architecture and interiors, shaping homes around the way people live.
Jason’s work has been featured in Dwell, Connecticut Cottages & Gardens, New England Home, Luxe, Interior Design Magazine, Litchfield Magazine, and Maine Home + Design. The studio partners closely with clients to define a clear vision and guide projects from first ideas through final decisions. Whether you’re restoring a historic property or building a new home, we’d welcome a conversation.
